Being able to afford graduate education is more than applying for a student loan or assistantship and hoping for the best. While those are feasible solutions for some students, we strive to give our students the tools to make well-informed decisions about their financial situation.
Financial Smarts @ UMBC
Introducing Financial Smarts @ UMBC, this program provides a collection of informative resources regarding your finances. While much is offered within the context of attending college, these resources are useful beyond the classroom and help better prepare our students to master their financial matters after graduation. At UMBC, we encourage our students to be ‘Not Just Book Smart, Financially Smart!’
The Council of Graduate Schools also offers advice and financial planning tools from GradSense.org to help you pay for Graduate School.
