Organizational Consulting

Program Description

The program examines the roles, functions, and processes used by human capital consultants to solve organizational problems. Throughout the program, students will acquire a broad perspective of internal and external consulting practices. Active learning techniques will be used to introduce soft skills such as communication and conflict resolution as well as processes in business development and project management. Based in Rockville, Maryland, at the Universities at Shady Grove, the program offers evening, weekend, and select online courses for busy professionals.

Online or On-Campus: The certificates are offered in a blended learning format, some courses are offered online and some are offered in a face-to-face format. The face-to-face courses are offered at the Shady Grove campus.


Admissions Requirements

GPA of 3.0 or above
Introduction to Psychology OR General Psychology, in addition to one undergraduate course in Research Methods or Statistics
Goal statement (not to exceed 2 pages in length)
